Call of the opposites. Unexpected accordance and smooth transitions between opposites sometimes make great combinations. This blackberry watermelon smoothie is a scrumptious combination of opposite tastes and colors.
Black and white, sweet and sour. These opposites make a perfect summer drink when they come together in this blackberry watermelon smoothie. I bet this is the best way to make a watermelon smoothie recipe.
Every summer we face really high temperatures either equalize or exceed the previous year’s records! We all see, but do little to defeat this global warning. Actually the recent news about the heal on the ozone layer hole has been so surprising to me. The news is so promising, but we need to wait for a little more time to see the results. Until our Earth comes to a normal degree, we need to keep cool and heathy during hot summer days. This blackberry watermelon smoothie will help you to do so.
I have always liked smoothies. They’re cool, refreshing, healthy and tasty. Four in one combinations are always welcome until a more in one combination comes! Ha ha! This four in one smoothie combination gives you a real tasty healthy beverage experience. Naturally (and preferably), I used frozen blackberries in this recipe. They both help me to have a colder glass of smoothie and are easier to find; and watermelon makes a perfect compliment in this recipe. Cheap and sweet, watermelon really balances the relatively pricey and sour taste of blackberries.
The basics of making a nice smoothie lie behind using high quality ingredients. The milk and fruits are very important, but even the quality of the sweeteners (honey and sour cherry jam in this recipe) and aromas (vanilla extract) may make great changes in the taste. Of course you can make countless combinations of fruits and juices, but if it is your kids to drink this blackberry watermelon smoothie or whatever, please go organic!
