Liquid consumption plays a crucial role to maintain well being of your body especially in these boiling summer days. With thousands of alternatives, beverages can either be very helpful or harmful to your body. This cold chocolate milk is the sweetest way to have a cooling beverage experience.
Bottled, canned or cartooned, almost all processed beverages include additives or preservatives. Fizzy drinks, energy drinks and even canned fruit juice may be harmful for your health. I’m not even talking about how harmful alcoholic drinks are unless drunk in reasonable amounts. (My husband kills me if I totally blame beer!) I agree, this cold chocolate milk is not a hundred percent innocent with some sugar content, but I would never regret if I paid more than a standard price for this great chocoholic drink.
This recipe is a total improvisation created under pressure! All the parents will understand what I mean by “under pressure”. Sometimes your kid gets into a mood that can never be satisfied. That usually heralds the advent of a high temperature or a kind of illness, but this time it had no underlying reason. I usually hear him playing games about cooking: “now let’s put more flour”, “I can’t find the baking powder!”, “I need to buy some avocado!” … I guess that’s no surprise for a foodblogger couple’s kid. Yesterday, he went into a cooking crisis, he wanted to bake a cake but was finally enticed to this chocolate milk recipe.
Actually, I was not very expectant of this recipe, but it turned out to be a great one. Milk is a great source of protein and calcium. If your kid refuses to consume it, some chocolate and vanilla aroma will make it an irresistible drink for him or her. Thanks to my son, we came up with this scrumptious summer beverage recipe. No regrets guaranteed!
