No Bake Tahini Oreo Bites

Spending hours in the kitchen is sometimes very enjoyable, but sometimes you want to make something fast and delicious. Avoid those multi ingredient complex recipes in that case. Something easy like no bake tahini Oreo bites may be the recipe you are looking for.

Sunday is when the little chef at home gets into the kitchen. Any kind of assistance is given to his mother: crumbling, mixing, shaking, tasting, and even kneading. He takes it very seriously. His job today was crumbling biscuits for our no bake tahini Oreo bites. And finally the mission was completed successfully.

I have always liked no bake recipes. You don’t have to worry for the dough or the crust, and they are usually easier to make. They also bring you more compliments than standard cookie recipes. I normally use some dried fruits for no bake recipes, but this time I had some chia seeds. Very rich in vitamin B and mineral content, chia seeds have become so popular recently, especially among vegans.

These no bake tahini Oreo bites take almost no time to prepare. As long as you have the ingredients and an assistant chef like me, you can make them in 10 minutes. But I advise you not to serve them immediately. At least 30 minutes refrigerating is essential before you serve the bites. Actually, the more they rest in the fridge, the better becomes their texture.

My son likes soft cookies, so the ingredients in this recipe are for a soft texture. If you want to have a harder texture you can put more oatmeal. The bites may welcome up to ½ cup more oatmeal for a harder texture, but don’t put more than ½ cup extra.

One more tip: If you make these bites in Summer, don’t forget to ask your guests to eat them up shortly after you take them out of the fridge.
