Sweet Oven Baked Chicken Wings

Honey, lemon juice, ketchup, barbeque sauce, olive oil and all those spices make this sweet oven baked chicken wings irresistible.

Having guests over for dinner would be so difficult without chicken. Chicken is one of my favorites because it is a delicious and cheap food, and lets you to prepare countless recipes using different parts of this great poultry product. Wings are often used for grilling and barbecue recipes, but today I’ll tell you how you can oven bake chicken wings more like a stew recipe.

You can also call this recipe oven baked bbq chicken wings as the barbecue sauce plays an important role. Actually Al’s is my favorite all the time (maybe that’s because it tastes and smells like coke). But you should use your own favorite. Combined with honey, lemon juice, ketchup, soy sauce, olive oil and other spices, the sauce becomes an irresistible coating for the wings.

The spices I used are my favorites. Adding a few more or leaving out the ones you don’t like will make this sweet oven baked chicken wings recipe more scrumptious for you. The same sauce and the same instruction can also be used for chicken thighs. If you use chicken thighs, don’t forget to make a few cuts on the thighs for better absorbing of the sauce.

This is a rather easy chicken wings recipe because you don’t have to stand by the grill to flip over the wings. Instead, after the chicken and veggies are in the oven, you can prepare the salad or other side dishes for your guests.

I had some tomatoes, onions, a few peppers and garlic on the top of the wings. Some potatoes or the veggies you like may make a nice touch to your dinner. I would love to use potatoes, but unfortunately my son is allergic to potato, but you should include them into your own recipe. I hope you will enjoy these sweet oven baked chicken wings.
