It may sound very familiar to you if you are parenting a five year old boy, and could not spend a lot of time together recently. What he implies is “I want to spend time together”.
That was how we solved the problem. First, there was a small lecture on how unhealthy those chocolate bars are. Then, we made a plan together: Little chef in the kitchen making his own sweets! I put all the ingredients in small bowls and he added them into the mixture when I asked him to do so. What else do you need for no bake cookies!
Almond, goji berries, oatmeal, peanut butter, honey, cocoa and grated coconut, they are all so yummy and imagine what it tastes like when they come together. All you have to do is to stir them up evenly, refrigerate for half an hour and then make small balls. Your no bake almond and goji berry chocolate bites are ready to serve. Ingredients
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 2/3 cup grated coconut
- 1/2 cup raw almond
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1/8 cup goji berry
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/3 cup honey
Instructions
- Put all the ingredients in a large bowl
- Stir until combined well
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes (lid closed or cling filmed)
- Make small balls (You can add 1-2 tbsp honey or peanut butter if you feel it's too dry; or 1-2 tbsp oatmeal if it’s wetter than you expect)
