Cooking for the family

Drinks

Spicy Coconut Baileys Coffee

Baileys and milk combinations are among the most popular ones if you want to prepare Baileys drinks. All these Baileys recipes are top in the list because Baileys and milk go together very well. But if you need a change, you have to give the mixture a touch without changing the basics of it. The best touch for us is spicy coconut Baileys coffee.

My husband always talks about how tasty the coconut milk he drank in Bangkok was whenever someone talks about coconuts. He went to Thailand 3 years ago, and he still can talk hours about the flavor and taste of the tropical fruits he ate there. Everybody in the family knows that his favorite is the coconut milk. So this was his idea to substitute cow’s milk with coconut milk.

It all started when I asked him to prepare me a mug of coffee. “But please make something different this time” I said. It took him a little bit long time, but he brought me something far above what I expected. As soon as I finished my coffee, I asked him how he prepared it and what was inside.

The next thing was to ask him make two more cups and to get prepared for taking their photos to share with you. Spicy coconut Baileys coffee gives you a feeling of coolness and comfort. I know that’s because of Baileys, but the spicy flavor of coconut milk makes it a great hot drink.

Of course that’s not a must. You can also enjoy your spicy coconut Baileys coffee cold. All you have to do is to prepare the mixture, let it cool down for a while and add some ice to cool it. That will be a great drink for hot summer afternoons or nights. You can also prepare it beforehand and refrigerate to consume later. Hot or cold, enjoy your coffee!
