Strawberry Nutella Puff Pastry Sandwich

I like it so much when easy recipes turn out to be very yummy. You spend almost no time and no effort to make them, then your recipe becomes a scrumptious feast. This usually happens to me when I make no bake recipes, but this time there is a little baking in this easy strawberry Nutella puff pastry sandwich recipe.

Do you know who invented puff pastries and had the idea to freeze them? I want to kiss that chef on the cheeks. What a great convenience for anyone who cooks! Actually I am a fan of puff pastry Nutella banana, but this time I wanted to try a recipe with strawberries as their smell is so tempting at this time of the year.

This is a very easy recipe because you have to do almost nothing to prepare it. The puff pastry is ready to be baked, just get it out of the freezer, let it come to fridge temperature in about thirty minutes, then bring them to room temperature in ten minutes, prick the sheets with a fork, and bake for 15 – 20 minutes until golden brown. Making your own pastry doesn’t sound logical to me as it is a great time loss though may cost cheaper. You can explore this topic deeper on The Kitchn.

And Nutella! I want to kiss the chef who invented Nutella twice on the cheeks! The closest friend of women; the best medication for a few days every month! OK, whatever it is for women, it is also a great convenience for the chefs. Why to bother prepare something else, it’s ready to be spread over your baked puff pastry sheets. I first discovered how practical Nutella for your recipes is when I baked Cranberry Nutella Muffins.

Any fruit – dried or fresh – can be used for this recipe. Strawberry Nutella puff pastry sandwich recipe is great for unexpected visitors. That was may case when I first made something similar, and now I make these sandwiches with fresh fruits mostly. If you are into desserts like me, you should give this recipe a try. No regrets guaranteed.
